Mid 1850s to early 1860s Dress, Crinoline Hoop-Skirt, Petticoat, Chemise, Drawers/Pantaloons, and Corset: Two-Piece Dress is worn over traditional undergarments including a waist cincher corset and a crinoline/hoop skirt. The bodice is quite fitted in the waistline area. This is emphasized by exaggerating the width of the shoulders. The armhole is dropped and the resulting hollow between armpit and bosom was filled with the bust pads. The skirt length is based on the standard height of 5' 6''.
